I am a writer (or constantly trying to be one), a single mother of two (or constantly trying to be one) and a powerlifter (or constantly... you get the drift, no?). I started out as an assistant cinematographer to PC Sreeram, but quickly realised there was more freedom in words than the visual medium. Over the past 15 years, I have written for several national publications (features, reviews, essays) and, in the recent past, have had some of my fiction published, too (hence, website). I did my Master's in Writing for Performance and Publication from the University of Leeds, UK (best year of my life), and also a PG Diploma in Social Communications Media from Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai (also best year of my life).
